Longlisting

Our strategies and tooling enable long list generation within a 2 hour response time for first review by the Agency. After this first review, Itonia generates the second long list. 95% of our shortlists require 2 to 3 reviewed long lists. Each long list progressively more on target due to our experience and tooling. After the agency confirmes the final long list and selects candidates to approach, Itonia can generate a short list with contact details of the shortlist candidates as an extra service. Alternatively the Agency can choose to use the PreContactTool to generate their own CVS files.

Itonia Search services

When our customers opt for Itonia Services our practices follow proven and validated steps.

Step 1  Filtering

The Filter step is used to determine a group of ideal candidates. This is achieved using hard criteria such as years of experience, job title, education and background in 2-3 itterations of potential candidates. In the first round the customer filters out 80% of the candidates. In the second round they filter out 50% and in the final round the last 20%. This usually results in a list of 15-20 candidates that would be a great match for the position.

End result: Longlist of approximately 20 candidates

Time required: depends on the response time of the customer

Traditionally companies see this as the short list of candidates to approach. Our experience is that this is just the starting point. Many companies that approach candidates in this step are disappointed by candidates that are not available or open for new opportunities. As a result they run out of good candidates quickly.

Step 2  Keyword generation

The filtered profiles are entered into Intonia’s PreSourcingTool to generate new keywords out of the filtered profiles. This is the step in the process that will generate candidates that have not been found using the hard criteria as job title or years of experience. The PreSourcingTool finds better and different candidates faster by analyzing massive amounts of data and generating keywords unique to the ideal candidate the Agency is trying to find. This increases the number of great matches. This saves time, impacts customer satisfaction and creates better results faster.

End result: New keywords that deliver more and better results then traditional search strategies. New candidates that emerge out of this step are always potentially perfect matches.

Time required: 10 minutes

Step 3  Shortlisting and approaching the candidate

Based on the longlist generated in Step 2 a decision is made on which candidates to approach with an introduction and invitation to apply. Most agencies prefer doing this themselves. Alternatively Itonia can approach shortlisted candidates with a customer approved information package. When our follow up service is enabled, customers can follow the process after logging in. All candidates are discussed with the customer before being approached. The more critical the customer the better our results become.

Our customers can choose between using our Services or our Tools. All of our services are offered at an hourly rate or fixed price. Alternatively they can subscribe to our PreSourcingTool and/or PreContactTool and do the work in their own time.
